“Nick is an amazing dog trainer! My little mini schnauzer Mattie was a disaster; in the home and in the community (she was always anxious, destructive, bothering everyone with barking and jumping, I had to isolate her in the house, she wined all the time, she would not listen, could not walk her on a leash, she was a constant handful, totally unfocused; her nick name should have been “chaos”, she was wearing me down). But, after she worked with Nick for 2 weeks, what a positive difference: she came home and is the dog I always wanted; thanks to Nick. She is calm, focused, has no destructive behaviors, listens to commands, behaves in the car and in the community, no whining, has full range of the house, walks beautifully on a leash. “Before Nick started training my German Shepherd puppy, she was very disobedient and would jump on everyone, playfully, to include my 3 year old, who she outweighed by 30 pounds, and chew everything she could get in her mouth. Nick would drive to Asheville and spend a couple hours on Fridays with me and my dog, and within 4 Fridays of this training, about 6-8 hours total, my dog does not jump on everyone, comes on command, stays in place until told to get off, does not jump on my couches or destroys anything inside the house anymore. If she needs to be crated, its almost as if she is not there, which is a huge step up. Most importantly, I can take my dog on walks now without having to worry about her pulling me in every direction and she is very friendly with other people and dogs since we like to go to the park a lot. Thanks to Nick, my wife now LOVES the dog which is very important, specially when you bring it home and she was unaware haha. I gave Nick 5 stars but if I could give him 9 or 10 I would. Oh, and he is very well priced for the time, effort and commitment he gives to the dogs and training tips for the owners. “Nick has changed my two dogs! He is so good with dogs AND the owner! ; ) Seriously, Calvin and Hobbes stayed with him for 14 days and have come back very well behaved, trained dogs. At first I was worried about the e-collar, but when Nick talked to me about how he uses it, it made sense. My dogs came back well-trained. The e-collar, when used responsibly and for training purposes is the way to go. Again, I was skeptical, but I was lucky to find a dog trainer who cares about dogs, treats them with respect and care, and works incredibly hard to ensure the owner is happy and informed. Nick spent almost 2hrs with me when he brought them back to my home. That was amazing! He made sure I was comfortable and felt good about how to use the e-collar and giving commands. “Nick did an amazing job with my Husky. He transformed her from a dog who wouldn’t listen, howled and jumped on visitors and was far from off leash reliable. She also was an awful car rider and whined the whole time while jumping from seat to seat. I would attempt walks but always ended up being dragged down the road. Now, after two weeks with Nick, she is easy to walk, doesn’t run when off leash and sits quietly in the car. When the doorbell rings, I am able to tell her lay on her bed and she doesn’t get up until I tell her to. I’m truly amazed at how much he was able to teach her in two weeks. I HIGHLY recommend him. Worth every penny for sure!”
